GENERAL MANAGER.

The board of the Irish Baroque Orchestra, one of Ireland's most prestigious music organisations, seeks an enthusiastic new general manager to spearhead and build upon its artistic and financial success.

The general manager will work alongside IBO's Artistic Director, Monica Huggett, in the preparation of the artistic plan, ensuring its financial viability and successful delivery.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Firm budgeting skills
  • Ability to maintain and foster relationships with a varied range of stakeholders (sponsors, promoters, funding bodies, audience and players)
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Clear analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with orchestral repertoire and a musical background are necessary.
