Oh Bohemia

Oh Bohemia

Programme Notes

The IBO’s season gets off to an exuberant start with an unusual programme featuring rarely performed music by composers of Bohemia. Their trailblazing efforts reshaped baroque music practice through innovation and originality, and these revolutionary ideas were a catalyst for the Age of Enlightenment. The Irish Baroque Orchestra’s passionate and colourful performances always delight and inspire, and brilliant virtuoso violin performances from our artistic director Monica Huggett are guaranteed. So let the sparks fly (and the revolution begin…!)
