Dear Friends,

We have an exciting season planned for you in 2008 with lots of exciting new repertoire.

In September we have a great programme with great masters of the baroque entitled ”The Unsuspected Contemporaries”.

The 18th Century was full of great composers; Bach, Rameau, Telemann, Handel... We often forget that despite their incredibly distinct styles, these composers lived and worked at the same time. In particular, Rameau, whose style is often described as pre-classical in its conception, was born before the great master Johann Sebastian Bach. Join us and discover how rich and diverse their styles were.

We know you have been keen to help us in the past so we will be launching a “revamped” friends' scheme very shortly. We will give you advance booking information for all our performances, free tickets for selected events and many other benefits.

I hope you join us throughout this year and discover the great pieces we have in store for you.

Artistic Director
