The IBO is delighted to be part of EUBO’s new Mobile Baroque Academy, a large-scale cooperation project co-funded by the European Commission under the Creative Europe programme. As an Associate Partner Orchestra (*), the IBO will facilitate a series of innovative placements within our orchestra, and collaborate with EUBO and its EMBA partner Concerto Copenhagen to nurture emerging talent in baroque music.
(*)The 7 Associate Partner Orchestras involved in this project are OAE, Freiburg Barockorchester, Holland Baroque Society, Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, Les Ambassadeurs and Irish Baroque Orchestra.
The IBO collaborated with OTC and Musictown 2015 to bring this rarely performed Handel masterpiece to Dublin. See what the critics had to say.
A brilliant opportunity for aspiring baroque violinists to train with the IBO’s artistic director, Monica Huggett. The series takes place in Dublin from 25-27 May. Applications are now open, so please do get in touch with us as soon as possible, as places are limited. For more info and class fees, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

We are counting the days to the release of our new and much improved web site which will also offer much easier online ticket purchase facilities.
We were thrilled with the capacity crowds at this Dublin-based concert series in January 2015 – and this despite the chilly, snowy weather! Thank you for your support.
