IRISH BAROQUE ORCHESTRA SEASON 2015/16
The IBO is delighted to announce details of its 2015/16 concert season; come and enjoy beloved gems and dazzling rarities of early music. There is something for everyone from the delights of 17th Century German and Italian music making in September 2015 to an exciting revival of a florid and sophisticated art in February 2016. This season sees the IBO’s charismatic Artistic Director Monica Huggett return, alongside guest directors Lars Ulrik Mortensen (hpd), Mark Duley, Matthew Halls and Pavlo Beznosiuk (violin).

The IBO is delighted to be part of EUBO’s new Mobile Baroque Academy, a large-scale cooperation project co-funded by the European Commission under the Creative Europe programme. As an Associate Partner Orchestra (*), the IBO will facilitate a series of innovative placements within our orchestra, and collaborate with EUBO and its EMBA partner Concerto Copenhagen to nurture emerging talent in baroque music.
