YOUR SUPPORT IS VITAL AND MUCH APPRECIATED
The Irish Baroque Orchestra relies on the support of many different organisations and individuals to sustain our work.
The IBO’s core funding comes from the Arts Council in the form of an annual grant. Other funding is provided by Dublin City Council, and through support-in-kind initiatives, and we also actively pursue partnerships with commercial sponsors and philanthropic donors.
The IBO aims to ensure the future of Baroque music in Ireland, for audiences (young and old) as well as the talented early music instrumentalists in our orchestra. IBO performances are vital, inspirational and memorable events and we are proud of the impact made via our concerts and educational activities.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP US?
WHY NOT BECOME A FRIEND OR PATRON: IBO Friends are valued partners in bringing the work of one of Ireland’s most prestigious music ensembles to an ever increasing audience. The financial support of our Friends is fundamental for the orchestra to expand its horizons and promote music making of the highest standard. Membership of the Friends scheme is priced at 150 euro (single) / 200 euro (couple) and 400 euro (patron level) and in return, we offer a number of complimentary tickets (valued according to membership level), a complimentary programme for each event, a programme listing, invitations to IBO receptions to meet conductors, soloists and players, regular newsletters and a 10% discount on sales of IBO CDs.
THE IBO CORPORATE CIRCLE: We believe in nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with key commercial organisations who enjoy special benefits and offers in return for supporting Ireland’s flagship period ensemble.
DONATIONS: The IBO is a registered charity (no. CHY 18524) and very much appreciates donations of any size. All funds donated to us go directly towards supporting the costs of our orchestral performances.
