The Irish Baroque Orchestra has a creative mission and identity quite unlike any other organisation. We recognise that each company is unique, and that partnerships between two organisations need to be carefully shaped in order to be truly effective.

The Irish Baroque Orchestra is known across Ireland and internationally for world-class performances, with a particular focus on championing Ireland's classical music heritage. The IBO family brings together internationally-renowned performers and talented young musicians under the artistic direction of Peter Whelan. Values of collaboration, inclusion and transparency lie at the heart of what we do and enable us to continue our rapid growth and development from season to season.
