JOE TIMMONS

Joe brings with him more than 10 years experience of programme management which has focused on communicating the achievements of individuals and communities.
Prior to joining us, Joe worked in International Development across Eastern and Southern Africa, on programmes aimed at improving access to health and education. With Charlie Goldsmith he was responsible for designing the award winning fellowship scheme, that won an award from the Department for International Development, for youth development and social mobility. Joe has managed and delivered programmes funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the EU, the World Bank and has built trusted relationships with stakeholders, partners in the international development, humanitarian and charity sector.
Joe read Modern History and was to go on to study voice at the Royal College of Music in London. He is delighted to be working in a role co created by The Arts Council of Ireland/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and The Irish Baroque Orchestra and to support the IBO in attracting investment as they fulfill their responsibly to advocate for Ireland’s classical music heritage, reclaiming newly discovered corners of our cultural identity as the IBO builds further its identity as a living research hub, where scholarship and new discoveries shape the orchestra’s projects.
