The IBO Apprentices make their London debut at Handel's Church

An ensemble comprising IBO Apprentices past and present made their debut at Handel's Church (St George's, Hanover Sq) at the invitation of Irish Heritage. They performed music by Handel as well as Giordani's 'Irish Medley' to a full and enthusiastic audience which included Ambassador Martin Fraser, Ireland's recently-installed Ambassador to the UK. They also collaborated with Irish Heritage young artists John Porter (tenor) and Ellen Mawhinney (soprano). The event was presented by BBC Radio 3's Petroc Trelawny, and the evening was a fantastic celebration of young Irish musical talent.
