Baroque Strings Cork

This new non-professional baroque string group is aimed at intermediate string players playing to the equivalent of Grade 6 standard or higher, aged 18 and over. Led by CSM tutors Maria Gaynor (violin/viola) and Aoife Nic Athlaoich (cello), these sessions will provide a valuable insight into the style and technique of period playing. You can expect a fun and supportive environment, and no judgement! Join us!

Sessions take place in the Doolan Room at the Cork School of Music from 7pm - 9pm, and dates for Autumn 2023 are:
October 11th, 18th, 25th, November 8th, 15th, 22nd.

Fees are €90 (€72 students) for the block of 6 sessions. Sign up by September 30th to secure your place!
