Dublin HandelFest 2024
The Irish Baroque Orchestra returns to Dublin Castle in summer 2024 for the fourth edition of Dublin HandelFest. Join us for the glorious music associated with Rachel Baptist, a celebrated Black Irish singer from Dublin’s classical music scene in the 1750s, and the energetic talents of the Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra. Renowned harpsichordist Malcolm Proud shares his expertise in an open harpsichord masterclass followed by a solo recital. A full programme of education and participation events offers something for everyone, and Paddy’s Trumpeters make a triumphant return to the upper courtyard.
