This enchanting programme journeys through the magical winter landscapes evoked in centuries past, featuring festive masterpieces and timeless gems. Experience the beauty of Corelli’s beloved Christmas Concerto, the elegance of Locatelli and Telemann, and the evocative winter scenes of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons.”
The evening is further enriched with Purcell’s poetic “Next, Winter Comes Slowly,” the haunting Irish air “Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór,” and the serene grace of Bach-Gounod’s “Ave Maria.”Let the next generation of Ireland’s finest musicians usher you into the season with music full of joy, reflection, and celebration.
